Pickin’ in the Park
1 Sycamore Street, Elkins, WV 26241
Pickin’ is a weekly acoustic bluegrass and old-time jam sponsored by Augusta Heritage Center of Davis & Elkins College. It is held most Wednesday evenings from 5-10 pm. Visitors, beginners, and seasoned musicians are all welcome to join a jam, start one of their own, or just sit back and listen.
During warm weather, Pickin’ in the Park is held in Elkins City Park at the Sycamore Pavilion and Small Pavilion (early May until early October). Pickin’ moves indoors, in October, to the lounge of Myles Center for the Arts until the following May.
