Topics are: 1/22\, “Witness Trees of the Monongahela National Forest” by Melissa Thomas-Van Gundy\, USDA Forest Service; 2/26\, Changing Bird Song in the Appalachian Forests” by Katie Garst; 3/26\, “”Returning the American Chestnut to Our Forests” by Mark Double\, WV Chapter of the American Chestnut Foundation; and 4/23\, “Stress\, Strain and Trees: An Introduction to Tree Mechanics” by Ken Beezley\, D&E.
