DESCRIPTION:During this two-week period\, West Virginia Department of Natural Resources will stock 68 lakes and streams with the Mountain State’s very own golden rainbow trout. This fish is prized by anglers for its unmistakable\, bright-yellow color. 50\,000 golden trout will be entering our lakes and streams\, and this year\, 500 fish will be tagged. DESCRIPTION:When: April 8th at 6PM\nWhere: Big Timber Brewing \nJoin Mon Forest Towns for a series of community meetings to learn about the Mon Forest Towns Partnerships’s (MFTP) new collaborative gravel and bikepacking route network led by the team of Village to Village Trails\, Bikepacking Roots\, and MountainRides! The meeting dates/times/locations are listed below\, as well as our Facebook Events Page! MFTP is a a regional non-profit working to advance outdoor recreation and downtown development in twelve towns across eight West Virginia counties within the Monongahela National Forest. They initiated this project to create a network of gravel cycling and bikepacking routes to showcase the region’s natural beauty\, link communities\, and highlight the rich history and cultural heritage throughout the Mon National Forest!
