DESCRIPTION:Stained Glass 101 \nThe Arts Center’s Pottery and Glass Studio\nMondays\, 6 week Stained Glass Class\n6:30 to 8:30 pm \nCost $125 Members\, $150 Non Members \n$30 material fee = 10” x 10” item (approximately.) Additional items require an additional fee. \nBeginners \nThis class provides an excellent opportunity for a novice student to create a beautiful piece for their window! If you have some experience on hand\, and want to sharpen your beginner skills\, jump on in. \nThis class will work from a pattern of your choice. All tools are provided in our studio and you will learn glass cutting\, grinding\, foil\, and soldering methods. You will walk away with a finished piece at the end of class. \nInstructor Jay Saseen \nStained Glass is not appropriate for pregnant ladies. For your safety we ask that anyone participating must wear closed-toe shoes and eye protection for all glass experiences. Eye protection is available in the studio. Waiver Required.

Learn the skills necessary to throw cylinders\, cups\, bowls and more in this exciting introduction to throwing fundamentals. Feb 15\, from 3 to 5 pm \nCost $50 Members\, $60 Non Members \nWelcome spring with a spring flower fused glass window ornament. while learning the basics of fused glass and glass cutting. Students will learn how to properly assemble and layout individual pieces of glass to create one of a kind spring flower ornaments in this 2 hour workshop. Each ornament will be fused in our kilns and will be ready for pick up the following week. Additional ornaments can be made for an extra fee\, time permitting. Get a group of friends or family together and have a fun time creating.
