SUMMARY:Veterans Day Parade @ Downtown Elkins
DESCRIPTION:Each year around Veterans Day\, community groups host a variety of dinners and events designed to honor all veterans who served their country and thank them for their service. \nThe 6th Annual Veteran’s Day parade will take place on November 9th\, 2019 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. The parade will be about 30-45 minutes in length and will go from Southern States through downtown Davis Avenue to 4th Street ending at the American Legion Post 29. \nAll Veterans are encouraged to participate. Line-up for the parade will start at 12:00pm at Southern States. \nAny organizations or individual wishing to participate may call the American Legion Post 29 at 304-636-3930 for additional information.
