DESCRIPTION: 2026 Homecoming Overview!  Friday we’ll kick off the weekend just having fun! – Free bounce house from 5-8 – Karaoke + open mic on Punk’s porch 5-10 – Cornhole tournament at 6 – Free vendor/food setup day! – Preorder t-shirt pickup will be at the Homecoming tent beside the mailboxes!There will be no raffles available Friday!Saturday we’re starting early! – Car show starts at 10 (Winners announced at 2:30) – Vendors and food open as early as 10 – Free live music all day – Bounce house/kids’ zone open 12-8 – Fireman’s parade at 3:30 – Sat.’s 50/50 + raffle auction announced at 7:30Sunday: – Announcements + opening prayer at 12 – Vendors + food open as early as 12 – Bounce house/kids’ zone open 1-8 – Free live music at 1 + 5:30– Children’s parade at 3:30 – Touch-a-truck 4-5:15 – Duck race drop in at 4:30 – Sun.’s 50/50 + raffle auction\, the quilt raffle\, the glider raffle\, a lottery tree\, and the silent auction** will be announced at 7:30 – and we’ll end the weekend with the annual square dance at 8Now\, Saturday 10-8 *AND* Sunday 12-7 you can find at least one of our officers at the Homecoming tent beside the mailboxes taking care of the following things : – Preorder t-shirt pickup – Homecoming memorabilia sales (t-shirts + more!) – Ticket sales for: daily 50/50 + raffle action\, the quilt raffle\, the glider raffle\, a lottery tree – Silent auction** bidding – Selling duck race ducks (til 4 Sun.) – Arm bands/hand stamps for the bounce house/kids’ zoneA few side notes:• We’ve got more than one surprise in store that we’re super excited for.• I’ve got stars beside “silent auction” in this post because at this time we do not have silent auction items (ya know\, if you have it in ya to donate )• No ATM in Whitmer and no cell service in Whitmer! Bring your family and friends and spend the day celebrating the beautiful fall season with us!\n\n\n LOCATION: VALLEY HEAD FIRE DEPARTMENT\n\n\n YARD SALE & VENDOR/CRAFT SHOW — 9:00 AM–5:00 PM\nStart your day by shopping our yard sale and vendor/craft area! Whether you’re looking for treasures\, handmade crafts\, goodies\, or unique finds\, there will be plenty to see. The set-up fee is $10\, and vendors should bring their own table. Set-up and the event will run from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Come shop local and support our community!\n\n\n KIDS PAGEANT — 12:00 PM\nNext up is our Kids Pageant! The entry fee is $15 per child. Door admission is $3\, overalls are $3 each\, and Fan Favorite votes are $1 per vote. SUMMARY:Autumn on the Dryfork | Dryfork Recreation Center
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the classic flavors of fall at this annual gathering held since 1998. Enjoy fresh apple cider and apple butter made the old-fashioned way. See the apples pressed into cider and cooked down into apple butter over fire in a copper kettle.\n\n\n \n\n\nAutumn on the Dryfork also features live music\, a variety of vendors\, and homestyle country cooking like fire-roasted chicken and pork. The festival takes place along the Dry Fork River at the Dryfork Recreation Center in Harman just off of Rt 32 behind the Old Mill\, and raises money for the facility.
