Before and after the film\, guest are encouraged to look at our exhibit Creating Cultures: Ethnic Groups in the AFNHA to learn more about our heritage in the region. Light refreshments will be provided. \n“From the making of Helvetia cheese to Fasnacht and the burning of Old Man Winter – experience the Old-World Swiss traditions as they thrive today in the remote mountain community of Helvetia\, West Virginia. Descendents of nineteenth-century Swiss immigrants share and discuss their music\, dance\, yodeling\, foodways\, crafts\, customs and celebrations.” \nNote: the film should be done it time for guests to also go to the Augusta Festival’s concert and dance which begins at 7:30.

Parents\, please bring a wrapped gift with your child’s name on it. Drop off at the camp store by noon please.\nA hayride will follow later in the evening at 8:30pm so we can enjoy the campsites that choose to decorate.\nWe will have a hot cocoa bar with all the yummy toppings\, cookies and sit back and enjoy a family Christmas movie after dark. Bring your chairs to the upper pavilion.
