SUMMARY:16th Annual Ramps & Rail Festival
DESCRIPTION:The 16th Annual Ramps and Rail Festival will be held on April 25\, 2026 at the Elkins Depot Welcome Center. The festival continues to grow each year and the Depot hopes everyone will come again this year! You can try different ramp-themed foods and listen to live music\, enjoy the craft vendors\, and vote for your favorite vendors. \nEach year the festivities start at 10am and continue until 4pm. For the second year\, we are expanding from the Town Square onto Railroad Ave and 3rd St\, making even more room for vendors. Ramp lovers and first-timers alike can find something delicious to enjoy\, from ramp-burgers and hotdogs to dumplings and eggrolls. There will be over 75 food and craft booths at the festival. The Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad has train rides available to those who want to take one of the first rides of the year. \nCome enjoy the spring season as we celebrate this unique wild edible with a one-of-a-kind Appalachian culinary experience! \nSchedule: \n9:30am: Registration for the Highlands Trail Foundation bike ride (ride begins at 10am).\n10:00am – 4:00pm: Food & craft vendors open\n10:00am: Announcements and introductions\n11:00am and 1:00pm: Train rides depart (see mountainrailwv.com for tickets)\n11:00am – 3:30pm: Live music and entertainment\n11:00am – 1:00pm: Perfect Third (Tiffany\, Joel\, & Seth)\n1:30pm – 3:30pm: The Lucky Devils\n4:00pm: Presentation of award plaques \nVENDOR INFORMATION:\nUnfortunately\, we will be unable to accommodate any additional vendors at the 2026 Ramps & Rail Festival.
