DESCRIPTION:Join us on November 1st to show support for diabetes awareness in our community! \nAt 5 PM the short walk will step off from the Elkins Main Street office located at 204 Davis Avenue in downtown Elkins. The walk is to honor yourself\, a friend or loved one\, or anyone you know affected by Diabetes. \nThe walk will end a few blocks away at the Elkins/Randolph County YMCA where health screenings and educational forums will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. Refreshments\, door prizes\, demonstrations\, and speakers will be available! \nStop in and try healthy food demos\, learn about diabetic health (& foot) care and hear from medical professionals including:\n* Sonya Weiford-Phares\, RDN – Clinical Dietitian\, DMC\n* Ashton Curtis\, DPM – Davis Medical Podiatry\n* Special Guest – Jeremy Soule\, MD – Endocrinologist\, WVU Medicine \nJoin us as we celebrate #BetterHealth in downtown Elkins – November 1st
