SUMMARY:Mother's Day Celebration | Mill Creek
DESCRIPTION:Mother’s Day weekend activities are now being planned. Plans for a free music concert at Hamill Park on Friday evening \, May 8th at 6:00 pm\, a parade with line up at 12:30 and kick off at 1:30 pm\, a music show featuring Lynnlee Shearer at the park on Saturday after the parade from 2:00-4:00 pm\, a free pork BBQ dinner after the parade compliments of the town with Charlie Wegman\, and a wrestling event at TVHS on Saturday evening. Dennis Defibaugh has invested a lot of time and effort in getting these activities together for the enjoyment of the valley folks. I know other plans have also been planned by the fire department including a cake walk\, craft show\, a chicken burn dinner. The Senior Center will be cooking Mother’s Day breakfast on Sunday morning.

DESCRIPTION:Our next pop up venue will be Friday\, September 12th at Hamill Park in Mill Creek next to Liggett’s Supply. Produce/food vendors\, flea market/crafts in the park earlier in the day. Music at 6:00 pm with 16 year old Lynnlee Shearer. Plans are still in the making so we’ll edit with details as we go. Come eat\, buy some produce\, visit the vendors\, get some kettle corn\, and listen to Lynnlee sing at 6:00 pm. We’ll keep the coffee pot going\, maybe even some hot chocolate/drinks and treats and finish the evening socializing and singing around the campfire with some good old fashioned hymns and campfire songs! Bring your guitar or whatever instrument you play and join us.
