Processing fee on credit.\nRuby was born and raised in Morgantown\, West Virginia. At age 3\, she began classical training on the violin which continued into college at West Virginia University. In her adult years\, she branched out from classical violin\, and began a lifelong adventure as a musical performer in multiple bands spanning from rock-n-roll to honky-tonk. DESCRIPTION:OPEN STUDIO POTTERY\nRATES: MEMBERS $60 PER MONTH\, OR $20 DROP IN\nNON MEMBERS $70 PER MONTH\, OR $20 DROP IN\nIdeal for the potter to work independently in the studio. There is no instructor for this session.\nStudio time is available during business hours. The studio is not open during scheduled class times. In order to work during the Open Studio Pottery hours\, you must posses an intermediate to advanced skill level including\, but not limited too; the ability to operate wheels\, use of glaze\, ability to fire “our” kilns\, proper tool usage and more. \nThe cost includes a great deal for our studio\, such as the use of our equipment\, tools\, includes all firings and access to all the glazes we have in studio. We have over 20 + glazes to chose from. You have a semi private space to work\, and a can store your items on a marked shelf. \nPrerequisite. No matter your skill level\, you should have taken at least one of our pottery classes prior to requesting. Private instructions are not included. \nYou are responsible for your own reclaim clay. \nCleanup: Leave the studio in better shape then when you arrived. The studio is checked after your departure.

DESCRIPTION:Wheel Class\, Adults \nThursdays\, starting Oct 24 \n*NO CLASS the week of Thanksgiving \nProfessional Potter Kevin Boyle throws an 8 week fun and relaxing Wheel Class. This class is designed for beginners. Intermediate students welcome. None the less\, you will turn clay into art. Create step by step functional pieces\, such as a bowl or a mug. You would make at least one item each day. Due to space/equipment\, we limit 7 students per class. \nCost $150 Members\, $160 Non Members \nClay Fee: $40 each\, covers the cost of clay for the entire 8 week class\, plus glazes \nA great deal goes into the cost of your class. The Arts Center pays a professional instructor rate\, basic studio expenses\, use of our tools/kilns\, and costs of glazes\, with over 25 different glaze choices.

DESCRIPTION:OPEN STUDIO POTTERY\nRATES: MEMBERS $60 PER MONTH\, OR $20 DROP IN\nNON MEMBERS $70 PER MONTH\, OR $20 DROP IN\nIdeal for the potter to work independently in the studio. There is no instructor for this session.\nStudio time is available during business hours. The studio is not open during scheduled class times. In order to work during the Open Studio Pottery hours\, you must posses an intermediate to advanced skill level including\, but not limited too; the ability to operate wheels\, use of glaze\, ability to fire “our” kilns\, proper tool usage and more. \nThe cost includes a great deal for our studio\, such as the use of our equipment\, tools\, includes all firings and access to all the glazes we have in studio. We have over 20 + glazes to chose from. You have a semi private space to work\, and a can store your items on a marked shelf. \nPrerequisite. No matter your skill level\, you should have taken at least one of our pottery classes prior to requesting. Private instructions are not included. \nYou are responsible for your own reclaim clay. \nCleanup: Leave the studio in better shape then when you arrived. The studio is checked after your departure.

If you need some color in your life then this class is for you! Stabilo markers will force you to make those bold color choices that you have been looking for. No experience is necessary. Students need to bring their own pack of Stabilo markers to class. The teacher will have some sets available for purchase if you let the Arts Center know at least 4 days in advance that you would like to purchase a set the first day of class. \nIf you like to draw and you love the fluidity and playfulness of watercolor\, you’ve got to take this class and try out this amazing medium. This class will show you how to use Stabilo markers to create vibrant playful “watercolor” paintings.

DESCRIPTION:Open Studio Pottery\n10:00 AM 4:00 PM\nThe Arts Center (map)\n$60 MEMBER RATE PER PER MONTH\n$75 NON MEMBER RATE PER MONTH\n$25 DROP IN RATE. THIS RATE IS GOOD FOR THE OCCASIONAL VISIT.\nStudio time is available during business hours. The studio is not open during scheduled class times. In order to work during the Open Studio Pottery hours\, you must posses an intermediate to advanced skill level including\, but not limited too; the ability to operate wheels\, use of glaze\, ability to fire “our” kilns\, proper tool usage and more. \nThe cost includes a great deal for our studio\, such as the use of our equipment\, tools\, includes all firings and access to all the glazes we have in studio. We have over 20 + glazes to chose from. You have a semi private space to work\, and can store your items on a marked shelf. \nPrerequisite. No matter your skill level\, you should have taken at least one of our pottery classes prior to requesting. Private instructions are not included. \nYou are responsible for your own clay\, and reclaim clay. \nCleanup: Leave the studio in better shape then when you arrived. The studio is checked after your departure.
