Field of Fire is located at the base of the historic Civil War encampment, Camp Garnett, at Rich Mountain. The natural beauty of the park is complemented by basic hospitality facilities at the site.
This generously covered pavilion, with small kitchen space and restrooms, is perfect for your get-outside event. With an open meadow on one side and the woods with walking trails on the other, the possibilities are endless. Some camping space is available, but there are no camper hookups. The pavilion is a comfortable quarter mile walk from the earthworks at Camp Garnett.
Driving time is about 20 minutes from Beverly and 30 minutes from Elkins. The pavilion itself seats 80 perfect for any outdoor wedding, anniversary, or special occasion.
