As its name suggests, Cheat Bridge is named for a historical bridge over Shavers Fork of Cheat River located in #RandolphWV and first built in the 19th century to service the Staunton-Parkersburg Turnpike. The current bridge is a steel truss bridge built in 1912 by the Canton Bridge Company. 🌉
