The Hütte Restaurant is located in Helvetia, an area settled by a group of Swiss and German immigrants who moved from Brooklyn, NY, in 1869. Many of the dishes served at The Hutte come from recipes collected from townspeople.
Known for its original recipes brought from Switzerland over a century ago the menu items include classic Swiss items, Southern Appalachian influences and flavors that have been made through the centuries. Make sure you try everyone’s favorite – the peach cobbler.
This little Swiss restaurant is definitely worth the drive.
