Mark your calendar! On the First Friday of every month from April through September, Elkins Main Street kicks off the spring and summer. Hundreds of residents and visitors fill the sidewalks of downtown Elkins to enjoy what has become one of the city’s liveliest and popular event. Arts organizations, galleries, studios, and a wide variety of local businesses and unique shops feature local and regional artists products as well as live entertainment from 5 to 7 p.m. Throughout the evening children activities, corn hole tournaments, and much more are going on simultaneously for all to enjoy.
Best explored on foot once you arrive, the First Friday tradition continues to grow. Most make it an evening, with dinner and drinks from a colorful array of restaurants and entertainment venues.
