D&E Campus, Augusta Dance Pavilion. Cold weather location: Myles Center for the Arts, Creative Commons (former Pit Dance Studio)
$7 general, $5 students & AmeriCorps, free to Augusta participants and D&E students, faculty, & staff.
Dance to live old-time music by Annie Stroud & Friends! All dances are beginner and family friendly, and participants don’t need to bring a dance partner.
Elkins is part of the Mountain Dance Trail, a heritage tourism project of Augusta Heritage Center of Davis & Elkins College. The project preserves and promotes 15 local community square dances from the Virginia line to the Ohio border. The Mountain Dance Trail hosts a square dance almost every weekend somewhere in West Virginia.
