The Beverly Heritage Center is the premier history tourism destination in Randolph County, West Virginia. With four significant buildings meticulously restored and merged into one state-of-the-art museum facility, the Beverly Heritage Center will feature important local themes with universal appeal. The BHC features rotating exhibits on a variety of local history topics, and permanent exhibits that explore: early settlement and transportation, the “Courthouse War” in Randolph County, West Virginia in the Civil War, and the Battle of Rich Mountain. In addition to its interpretive displays, the Heritage Center hosts a variety of events throughout the year including presentations and historical programs, live music, and annual heritage events like Beverly Heritage Day and Old Fashioned Christmas. The museum also has a giftshop with books from local authors, food products, and other goods made in West Virginia. There’s always something new to see!
The Beverly Heritage Center is also home to several spaces available for event rentals. The I.O.O.F. Lodge has a generous kitchen and large meeting room with wood floor and high ceiling. Perfect for banquets, speakers, dances, or your event. A small PA and a large projection screen are available. There is a stair chair for handicap accessibility (seats around 80).
