Discover Elkins

Discover Elkins is a daylong event hosted by Elkins Main Street and local businesses to showcase the wide range of services our businesses provide by engaging the community with fun games, activities, and live entertainment.
The participating businesses often host demos, crafts, tours, or classes to give a more in-depth look at their craft while introducing attendees to the person “behind-the-counter,” providing a more personal touch that makes small business shine. For example, a local investment firm might offer a short, basic class on investment principles, a retail location might offer a craft session using their materials, or the owner of a historic building might give tours to explain its historic significance and the process of renovation.
Throughout the day, there will be musical acts at various locations, so as people move between each showcase they can enjoy local musicians’ talents.
