DNR Boating Education Course

The West Virginia Natural Resources Police will hold a Boater’s Education Course for Randolph and Pocahontas counties at the dnr, Elkins.
The class will be held on Monday, June 10 and Tuesday, June 11, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. This is a seven-hour course and students must attend both days and pass a 60-question certification test at the end of the course to receive their permanent boater’s safety card.
The course is open to the public and is free of charge. Any age individual may attend, however only students at least 11 years of age that have passed the test will receive a certificate of completion. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult.
Class size is limited so pre-registration is required. If you would like to attend the class go online to register at: www.register-ed.com and select West Virginia and boater’s education from the menu.
