Fly Tying 101 Class, Part 1 (pre-register) @ Delmonte Market

Doug Matthews is an experienced fly fisherman and guide with 20+ years of experience with WV trout and 10+ years of experience tying flies. The class will be based around methods for beginners to build confidence, get tying quicker and more efficient; as well as teaching 7 to 8 basic patterns that are easy, functional, and just plain catch fish! Yes, you will learn how to tie a pheasant tail nymph.
–There is no age cap, but we will be using sharp, ready to catch fish hooks; so parental advisory is expected!
–All materials will be provided, however, if students wish to bring their own tools, vises, or kits, they are encouraged to do so!
–Cost – $60 a person. –NOTE–This class will be offered in 2 parts. Part 2 will be February 15th, 6-8:30pm.
–Class is limited to 8 participants for better quality management and education…
–BYO beverages and/or snacks (this includes ADULT beverages); remember though there is a coffee bar located within The Delmonte.
