Riverside School Oral History @ Appalachian Forest Discover Center

Learn about the history of Elkin’s historic black school, the families who went there, and the community surrounding it. The film will be introduced by Melvin Marks, who attended the school. Film is 30 minutes long. Light refreshments will be provided. The Appalachian Forest Discovery Center’s exhibit Creating Cultures will be open before and after the screening.
