The Rustic Mechanicals – West Virginia’s only professional Shakespeare troupe – brings their 2022 Fearless Love Tour producion of ROMEO & JULIET to Davis & Elkins College on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
Doors open at the Miles Center for the Arts at 6:30p, the pre-show party starts at 6:45p, and the show begins at 7p.
Tickets are only $15! D&E students can get FREE admission with their student ID.
“My only love sprung from my only hate!” What if your first true love was someone you’d been told to hate? Ripped apart by the bitter divisions of their parents, two young people will risk everything to be together. The most famous story of love at first sight explodes with intense passion and an irresistible desire for change. Will this spark a revolution, or will division continue to tear through the generations?
Directed by Jason A Young, alongside Intimacy Director Jessica Morgan, Fight Director Cliff Williams, Movement Coach Tommy Schoffler, Voice & Text Coach Bridget Rue Esterhuizen, and Dramaturg John S. Shirley. The production’s Technical Director is David Byard, Costume Designer is Jason A Young, Hair & Make-Up Designer is Samantha Huffman, and Production Manager is Haley Wilson.
