Out and Back to Spruce Knob

This is a fun challenge to get to the highest point in the state, starting from the Tygarts Valley in Elkins, and up and over 3 distinct mountain ranges. I’d recommend making this an overnighter, going to the knob and then back down to Spruce Knob Lake campground on the first day. Then, the 2nd day is much easier, going back to Elkins the way you came.
