Mother’s Day Celebration | Mill Creek

Mother’s Day weekend activities are now being planned. Plans for a free music concert at Hamill Park on Friday evening , May 8th at 6:00 pm, a parade with line up at 12:30 and kick off at 1:30 pm, a music show featuring Lynnlee Shearer at the park on Saturday after the parade from 2:00-4:00 pm, a free pork BBQ dinner after the parade compliments of the town with Charlie Wegman, and a wrestling event at TVHS on Saturday evening. Dennis Defibaugh has invested a lot of time and effort in getting these activities together for the enjoyment of the valley folks. I know other plans have also been planned by the fire department including a cake walk, craft show, a chicken burn dinner. The Senior Center will be cooking Mother’s Day breakfast on Sunday morning.
