Feast of Saint Nicholas | Helvetia

Join us in Helvetia on Saturday, December 6, for a day filled with old-world charm, handmade gifts, and community cheer. The Helvetia Farm Women’s Club and Helvetia Restoration & Development Organization invite you to celebrate with caroling, bonfires, mulled drinks, and a festive market along Old Helvetia Road.

Children can learn the Swiss art of making Grittibänz bread figures and hear stories of Saint Nicholas at the Community Hall, while visitors explore the market and local shops. The Helvetia Public Library will have a used book sale, the museum will be open, the Hütte Restaurant will be serving warm soups and sandwiches, and both the Swiss Roots Store and Hinterzimmer Diner will be open throughout the day.

End the evening with live music, dancing, and good company in true Helvetia style. All are welcome!
