Intro to Backpacking- Adult Adventure Camp @ Spruce Knob Mountain Center

This 3-day, 2-night camp will cover everything you need to get out in the woods for overnight backpacking excursions. Along the way you’ll visit beautiful waterfalls, swimming holes, and overlooks.
Starting at our Spruce Knob campus, we will guide you through gear packing and map-reading exercises before heading out for two nights in the Seneca Creek Backcountry. Our instructors will share from their extensive experience, answer questions, conduct on-trail clinics about nutrition, self-care, weather-proofing, navigating, wilderness skills, and more.
