Spruce Knob Kite Festival

Experience the fourth annual Spruce Knob Kite Festival on June 29th at the picturesque Spruce Knob campus from 12 pm to 8:30 pm. This free, family-friendly event welcomes everyone without the need for registration. Enjoy a day packed with exciting activities, delicious local food, and vibrant community spirit.

Fly kites, whether bringing your own or purchasing one on-site, and participate in kite-making workshops suitable for all ages. Engage in various fun outdoor games and explore the beautiful trails around Spruce Knob. Watch impressive monster kite demonstrations by experts and treat yourself to unique maple-flavored cotton candy. Kids can get their faces painted with creative designs while savoring food from various West Virginia-based food trucks. Starting at 2 pm, visit the beer garden to sample local brews.
