Women in Leadership Conference

The Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce will hold its second annual Women In Leadership Conference, sponsored by Performance Chevrolet, on Friday, June 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Graceland Inn on the campus of Davis & Elkins College. WV Living Magazine is also providing sponsorship of this event.

The Chamber is pleased to once again welcome Rebekah “Becky” D. Mathis-Stump as speaker for the event. Stump is an analyst and solution-generator by nature. She works with clients to identify their needs and develop a plan of action to reach their desired results. A graduate of Ohio Valley University with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from West Virginia University College of Law, she is also a generalist who brings a broad range of knowledge and experience to her clients.

This year’s conference features an all new line-up of topics related to leadership. The morning starts out with How Leaders Relate – would you like to be more intentional about being a positive influencer? Session 2 explores How Leaders Communicate – a session focusing on listening and questioning skills. And the final session, How Leaders Think, gives attendees the opportunity to explore how great leaders think.
