Augusta Heritage Festival

Elkins City Park, Elkins, WV 26241

This festival is an annual celebration of traditional music, dance, and craft, the grand finale to our summer class sessions. The festivities take place in the tree-shaded Elkins City Park. The Augusta Festival includes a juried craft fair featuring the best regional artisans, live music on two stages, workshops, craft demonstrations, jam sessions, and children’s activities. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public, rain or shine.

After the festival concludes at the Elkins City Park, “Mountain Stage with Larry Groce” will bring their weekly radio program to Davis & Elkins College to celebrate the Augusta Heritage Festival. Audiences will participate in a recording that will be heard nationwide on NPR stations and on the Mountain Stage Podcast.

Immediately following the Mountain Stage Concert, the final dance of the summer will be held in the Augusta Dance Pavilion.
