Becky’s Creek Wildlife Management Area

The Becky’s Creek Wildlife Management Area — 1,930 acres — consists of mountain terrain covered primarily in hardwood forest. Deer, turkey, and bear are abundant, and hunters and trappers can expect to find raccoon, fox, and bobcat.
Access to Becky’s Creek is via Becky Creek Road (Route 43) from US Route 219. Several stream crossings limit access during high water. Primitive camping is available in designated areas. Owned by WV Department of Agriculture. Information provided by WVDNR.
All residents must have a proper hunting license and all non-residents must have a non-resident hunting license. Additional permits may be required. Hunters with physical disabilities may be eligible for disability permits. A current hunting license is required.
