The West Virginia Wood Technology Center (WVWTC) is located in Elkins. We’re a non-profit subsidiary of the Randolph County Development Authority. At the WVWTC, our mission is growth—regional economic growth, business growth, and the personal growth of individuals.
We provide high-quality business support services and workforce training programs to individuals and businesses throughout the region. We offer rental spaces for businesses and groups that need rooms for events, seminars, training, etc. Our 10,000 square foot facility includes broadband internet access and includes conference room with boardroom-quality furniture, multimedia and conference call equipment, multipurpose/seminar room for groups up to 100 people with seating and tables, multimedia equipment and separate entrance, two classrooms with seating and tables for 30-50 people and multimedia equipment, a computer lab with 12 workstations with business and design software, and video conferencing room with state-of-the art multimedia equipment, desks and chairs. The WVWTC Woodworking Center features more than 30 pieces of woodworking machinery and equipment. This equipment is available for training and rental. The center offers technical advice and monthly skill-set seminars. Training classes can be customized to suit your individual needs.
