Experience Fourth of July Weekend in Elkins, WV: Classic Cars, Fireworks, Live Music & More!

Brace yourselves for some of your favorite Randolph County events – all taking place Friday, June 30th through Sunday, July 2nd! From an engine-roaring extravaganza in downtown Elkins, to live music and fireworks, the streets of downtown Elkins will come alive. Organized by the dynamic duo of Our Town and the Mountain State Street Machines, this annual event has been a crowd-pleaser since 1985. And trust us, it only gets better each year!

Classic Cars Galore!

Prepare to be transported back in time as downtown Elkins transforms into a time machine, showcasing some of the finest classic cars in the state of West Virginia and beyond our state line. But hold on, because it doesn’t stop there! Feast your eyes on stunning new cars, tricked-out trucks, and motorcycles.

Don’t forget to cast your vote for your favorite vehicle at the Mountain State Street Machine’s event table, located just across the Elkins Depot Welcome Center and next to the Delmonte Market.

Bring the Kids!

Bring the whole family out to experience two new activities this year on Saturday, July 1st! First up at 10am, join the Kids Car Show with any & all battery, pedal or cardboard box cars! This event will take place at the Rotary Amphitheater in Elkins Town Square.

Then, choose your time to join the Patriotic Scavenger Hunt through downtown Elkins beginning at The Atrium at The Seneca Mall!  Clue sheets will be given out at The Atrium. Choose between 11:30am, 12pm, 12:30pm, and 1pm.

Fuel Up on Good Eats and Find Local Crafts

While your engines cool down, treat your taste buds to a delicious adventure thanks to several food trucks and local vendors scattered throughout downtown Elkins. As you explore the streets, be sure to pop into the charming specialty shops that adorn the downtown area. From vintage clothing to art supplies to antiques and more – you’ll be sure to find something you’ll love.  These shops are treasure troves of West Virginia’s finest crafts and artistic creations, showcasing the incredible talent of local artists. Prepare to be mesmerized and find that perfect memento to take home!

Endless Fun at Elkins Town Square

Elkins Town Square, located right behind the Elkins Depot Welcome Center, is where the action truly heats up!

Starting June 29th, enjoy 3 nights of music in a row at the Rotary Amphitheater in Elkins Town Square. First up, will be the amazing Air National Guard Band of the Northeast performing Thursday, June 29th at 6:00 pm. Drive in & vendors start at 5PM with the concert beginning at 6PM.

On Friday, June 30th, take in Ryan Cain & the Ables at 6pm and on July 1st come out to see Rick K. Road Trip at 8PM!  Fireworks will follow the show on July 1st, beginning around 9:30pm, so don’t forget your camp chair to relax and spectate after much walking and dancing. This year, fireworks will be put off from Downtown Elkins, in the Town Square, so plan your viewing spot accordingly.
