 TipTop is the perfect place for you if you like to sit down in a cozy coffee shop or grab your coffee and go. TipTop serves traditional espresso drinks with organic flavors, topped with creamy foam art. Along with the delicious lattes, you can grab some homemade pastries baked fresh for each day. We’re not the only ones who think this shop is amazing either, in 2020 West Virginia Living named TipTop the best coffee shop in West Virginia. Some other drink options here are pour-overs and single-origin teas. With the masterfully brewed drinks and beautiful interior, there’s no question why TipTop is a staple piece for many in Randolph County.

The Crossing Coffee Bar

 The Crossing Coffee Bar boasts colorful drinks and eclectic flavors that will keep you energized all day long. This place is perfect for when you want to grab and go and enjoy a nice summer day around town, or enjoy the aesthetic and take a seat in the quaint shop. Their menu is full of surprises with flavors like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, or Peeps, including a weekly special so you always have something new to try. For October, they have a lineup of Harry Potter flavored drinks. Some other drinks you will find include Italian soda,, bubble tea, and nitro cold brew. You will also find baked goods and ice cream, each menu item perfect for your walk around town.

Byrd’s House of Donuts

 Byrd’s House of doughy deliciousness holds one of the most classic combinations known to man, coffee and donuts. At Byrd’s you can get yourself anything from a steamy black cup of Joe, to a foamy latte. Enjoy all types of donuts in flavors you didn’t even know existed, like peanut butter creme filled, or snicker doodle, or stick to the classics like honey glazed, and chocolate iced. Byrd’s offers a colorful setting and delicious options for your coffee run, and if you know how to play, you may want to stop and jam on the piano outside the shop!

The MarketPlace at Davis Medical Center 

The MarketPlace is a comfortable place to gather with friends, host a study group, or simply enjoy quiet time alone. As a Starbucks WPS destination, they feature all of the handcrafted coffee, tea, refresher and seasonal beverages you love from Starbucks. They also feature locally made treats from Great Harvest Bakery, including sandwiches, cookies, scones, muffins, and salads. Wifi is free, and there’s a spacious, comfortable seating area just waiting for you.

The Caboose Cafe

The Caboose Cafe truly stands out from the rest, this shop isn’t even a shop! The Caboose Cafe is a train car, converted into a coffee bar. Located on the campus of  Davis & Elkins you can walk up to the caboose and grab yourself a gourmet coffee to go! This is a great experience to complete a tour of the campus, Halliehurst or Graceland Mansions, or for a pick me up while strolling through Elkins. This place is truly something special, and a popular location amongst our Senators.
