Fall is approaching! – Stop by Snyder Farms for their new and improved corn maze! This year will be the largest and most detailed of their mazes to date.

Snyder Farms is a family-owned business that has been in operation for 45 years! It’s their 4th year organizing the Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch but if you’ve already gone before, don’t worry – there are new things to expect this coming October!

We spoke with Kerrie at Snyder Farms about what’s coming up this fall.

Elkins-Randolph County Tourism:  What dates and times will you be open this October?
Kerrie: Our schedule is as follows:

· Fridays 6 pm – 9 pm – September 30th, October 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th
· Saturdays 12 pm -9 pm – October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, & 29th
· Sundays 12 pm -6 pm – October 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, & 30th

Elkins-Randolph County Tourism: What are people looking to pay for this experience?
Kerrie: Admission:

· Children (3-12) – $5
· Adults (13+) – $7
· Groups (20 or more) – $5 per person

Cash and card are both accepted forms of payment. Another perk–you’ll be provided an armband, so admission is good for the entire day if you want to leave and then come back in the evening.

For school and community groups that would like to schedule a time to visit on Friday before 6pm or a weekday Monday-Thursday, please send us a message (on Facebook Snyder Farms | Facebook) or contact Randy at 304-704-7603 and we’ll see what we can get scheduled with you!

Elkins-Randolph County Tourism: Is there anything that people should bring to get the best experience?
Kerrie: Bring a flashlight if you’d like to take on the corn maze at night!

Elkins-Randolph County Tourism: Who is this geared towards/who should attend?
Kerrie: This is a family-friendly event where all ages can enjoy our pumpkin patch and corn maze!

Elkins-Randolph County Tourism:  What can people expect throughout this Fall? Is anything new or different this year?
Kerrie: A bigger and better Corn Maze! We also have our Pumpkin Patch. Pumpkins are $1-$9 dollars and are based on weight.

Elkins-Randolph County Tourism: What is the check-in process like?
Kerrie: Check-in is at the barn for tickets and concessions – you’ll get a hayride to the pumpkin patch and corn maze. Once you’re in you can roam around or walk back to the barn.

Kerrie: We will have lots of activities at the farm!

Activities for kids at the barn will include pools of corn for little kids, basketball, and the culvert roll.
